15. About the semester at FAU

Imagen
Hi people! Today is the last blog post, so I will tell you about the semester at FAU. Every semester I go through a lot of different emotions and situations. This semester I decided to take less classes (no workshop) thinking that it would be less stressful and I would have more time for myself but I was wrong hahaha, and finally I was still consumed by the things of the university. English is one of the courses I have and the truth is that I have nothing but good things to say, since I found the course really good. I enjoyed doing the blogs, since telling things in English is super different and I found it a good weekly challenge, talking with some of you is also a challenge for me but a bigger one. Within the complicated part, I think it was getting there on time and not being in zombie mode in class :/ I think one of my best moments of the semester is now, since at this point of the semester I only come to English, anyway I'm looking forward to do the exams later to definitely c

14. How difficut it was for me

Imagen
Well the truth is that I found the activity of medium difficulty. I found the text part complicated, since I am a visual person and I need colors to better retain the information or to mark the information I find important or key words (I need to highlight or scratch), so I had to go back several times to read the text to be able to answer. Despite this I think I was able to solve it well, it just took me a little more time. PS: This is a photo taken from pinterest :)

13. Someone Interesting on Social Media

Imagen
I think one of the interesting people I follow on social media is Lapili. She is a multidisciplinary artist, she is a Spanish singer, dancer, choreographer, designer and stylist. I saw her for the first time on the x factor performing the song "Cómeme el donut" with the singer Jirafa Rey, I think that was more or less in 2018, so I've known her for 5 years. In a first instance I found the song very bizarre, as it is different from what is usually shown but in the second presentation I saw, they presented the song "Muslona", I was quite struck by this song especially because the percussion was made with the shock of his own thighs (Lapili). From there I started to follow her on instagram and all the platforms I could, because she seems to me an interesting and novel person and artist because she was and is doing something different, different lyrics for her songs. I really like Lapili because she fuses different styles of music between afro and Caribbean like dem

12. Outdoors

In general I really enjoy being outdoors, especially when it is windy, not too hot, places with green areas and plenty of trees. I am going to talk about something we always do, without thinking much about it, walking. I really enjoy being able to walk, I love and value my legs and my feet, as it allows me to move anywhere. I like to walk long distances, I prefer walking to taking a bus (unless necessary), I prefer to walk on the ground rather than on the asphalt. I don't know exactly at what age I started to do it, I guess at a year or a year and a half of life and as far as I understand it was hard for me to do it because I had hip problems. I always walk, everywhere and I have realized that depending on the place where I walk or how I feel that day or the vibes that the place gives me, I walk differently, I perform in a different way. Precisely, in relation to this, I recently listened to a podcast called "Formas de caminar" of La reconquista peatonal, which seeks to k

11. A Chilean Landmark

Imagen
A landmark that at least I visited a few years ago is the "Embalse el Yeso", I have gone only twice and well the reservoir is one of the iconic places of Cajón del Maipo, this is located in the heart of the Andes mountain range, at an altitude of 2500 m above sea level and is an artificial reservoir of water accumulated by means of a dam. The first time I visited it was approximately in 2017, I went with my sister fran, my cousins (ariel, horacio, sofi and benja). We went super in a super improvised way, since we went to stay at horacio's after a birthday and the next day horacio came up with the idea to take us. I remember we did a lot of walking and none of us were "prepared" or better said equipped, I went with converse, they got muddy and then wet from the snow/ice, I was unsheltered but I really enjoyed going. The place was very nice, I remember it too beautiful and the truth is that all we did was contemplate the view. The second time I visited it was in 2
